Montreal's own, The Boombap Cats, formed by JOHNNY ILLDIGGER on production and MEHDI CEE on the mic in 2001. known for their jazzy raw boombap sound and no-nonsense rhymes.

In 2012, THE BOOMBAP CATS teamed up with LOGIC JOHNSON for the ANTIHERO PROJECT, a side project album with a darker style for educational purposes.
